Our first-ever virtual VBS happened from July 12-16 with the theme "Origin Story." Our daily Scripture Readings helped us to remember that as Christians, we are... loved, called, courageous, joyful, and caring!

During the week, families received daily emails with the pre-recorded Scripture readings, music, and activities with our theme. Here are a few pictures of our Day 3 cape-making activity to remind us that like Ruth and Naomi, we are courageous!

Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped read, record music, design graphics and pdfs, put together the physical mailings, and so much more. Here's to VBS 2021!

Each summer, we offer a week-long evening Vacation Bible School program for children Pre-k through 5th grade in the community.  We serve dinner, and the program includes opening worship/drama, music, Bible class, games, and crafts.

We kick off each Vacation Bible School season with a VBS float in the annual New Castle Separation Day parade, with children and adults greeting the crowds and handing out VBS info and trinkets.

We have typically used the curriculum created by Mennomedia (the Mennonite church).  The last two summers have featured:
