REV. MIRIAM FOLTZ (she/her)
Pastor
Miriam has served as pastor of New Castle Presbyterian Church since August 2019 and brings a passion for creative and inclusive ministry across all generations. She previously served as the organizing pastor of UKirk - St. Louis, the Presbyterian Campus Ministry at Washington University and St. Louis University. Miriam majored in music and history at William & Mary before serving as a PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer in Belfast, Northern Ireland and attending seminary at Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. She loves spending time outdoors as well as settling in with a good book and warm cup of tea. Miriam and her husband, Steven, live in the Presbyterian manse with their son Parker and newest addition, son Micah born in March 2023 and two cats, Lewis and Clark.

KRIS KRAWCZYK (she/her)
Administrative Assistant
Kris has worked in the office of New Castle Presbyterian Church for over 14 years. Several years ago, she became a member of the Administrative Personnel Association of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which offers both opportunities and expectations for professional growth in church administration. Kris will tell you that not one day at the church is like the one before it. She is grateful for this place that has helped her to grow in her own Roman Catholic faith and supported her through life's challenges. When not up to her elbows in church office work, Kris' life is full as a wife, mother of three, and nana of five.

EILEEN LARKIN
Music Director
Eileen has served as music director at New Castle Presbyterian Church for 25 years leading a flourishing and diversified music ministry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Rowan University in New Jersey. An experienced educator, conductor, and soprano soloist, Eileen remains active in the Delaware Valley area and has sung in the New Ark Chorale for 28 years.

MINERVA LERMOND
Handbell Director
Minerva directs both of our Bell Choirs at New Castle Presbyterian Church: The Colonial Chimers and The Celebration Ringers. She also sings with our choir, as well as with the New Ark Chorale and the Delaware Women's Chorus. In other service to the church, Minerva has served as both a deacon and an elder on Session. Outside of church, Minerva works as a social worker with St. Francis Homecare and volunteers at an adult education program and with the St. Patrick's Center in Wilmington.

BETHANY FAIZ
Accompanist
Bethany has served as accompanist for New Castle Presbyterian Church since 2014. She began playing the piano at age five, and holds a degree in Music Therapy from Ohio University. In addition, she has served as an accompanist for choral groups such as the New Ark Chorale, and at the Music School of Delaware.

CHILDREN & YOUTH DIRECTOR
Help us share the Good News of Christ with our youngest members! NCPC’s Children and Youth Director position includes teaching Sunday School for children ages K-5, coordinating seasonal events for children of all ages, and planning activities for middle and high school-aged youth.
Anticipated start on August 28, 2022.
Flexible work schedule of 10 hours per week, including Sunday mornings and occasional evenings/weekends.
Prior Christian Education experience preferred. Minimum of high school diploma, collegiate coursework helpful.
